Hotel Sheldon

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! It’s perfectly located right off the boardwalk — close to everything but still peaceful enough to relax and unwind. The rooms have clearly been newly updated and are both stylish and comfortable. The lobby is beautiful and has great coffee options, which was a nice touch in the mornings. Every staff member I interacted with was friendly, professional, and genuinely attentive. You can really feel that they care about making guests feel at home. The whole place has such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back — highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable and inviting stay by the beach!

In the center of all the Hollywood boardwalk has to offer sits the Sheldon hotel. A clean, well kept spot. Each room has a closet with a beach chair, beach towels, not too mention your regular ironing board, safe & hangers. The showers have great water pressure. The mini fridge is perfectly tucked in. The AC is cold!. Hotel Sheldon is Hollywood Beach Boardwalks true gem.

Hotel Sheldon is INCREDIBLE! We booked a Vrbo and was scammed. Vrbo reimbursed us, but we were still left in Hollywood. Florida with no place to go. We walked into Hotel Sheldon and Yanixia and Patricia listen to our story and went into action. They were able to give us the last room available from Monday to Thursday then moved us to a second room for duration of our stay. Our winged hotel angles worked their magic again and we did not have to move! Beautiful rooms and right on the Hollywood Beach boardwalk! Book here. We will again.

What a wonderful place to stay. We stopped here after a cruise and spent the night before flying home. Perfect location right on the beach. Terrific restaurants all around you on the boardwalk. Room looked directly onto the beach, the was a concert down the boardwalk but it was very quiet after everything closed up so no issues sleeping. We'll make this a vacation spot as we don't enjoy the craziness of south beach atmosphere. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Can't wait to get back there.

The nicest and most friendliest place! We absolutely loved our stay here. They took our bags first thing in the morning because we flew in so early and our room wasn’t ready. They gave us beach chairs and towels while we waited for our room. A few hours later, the front desk lady called and said she can get us in our room 4 hours early with no extra charge. She was so sweet and accomidating. We are making plans to come back to Hollywood and specifically stay at the Hotel Sheldon because of the service we received. Thank you so much! This place is a 10 star in our book!

Clean rooms. Excellent beachfront location steps away from white sand of Hollywood Beach. The hotel shows its age despite some recent updates and a new redesigned lobby. The rooms are functional but certainly Not luxurious. All updates over the past few years have improved its appearance but it’s a new face on an old frame. Having said that, I like the updates like new windows (that do not open) and new bathroom fixtures. The hotel is very noisy at night because the blasting music from Margueritaville next door reverberates through the walls. Occasionally there will be additional noise from pedestrians on the Broadwalk. Maintenance is inconsistent. On a recent stay there was No hot water in the sink. The hot water was somehow completely shut off to the sink while the shower was ( fortunately) fine.

We had ocean front views which was amazingly beautiful. The hotel is right on the boardwalk and a few steps to the beach, which we loved. Perfect location. Although the room was very clean and comfortable, my opinion is that the hotel needs a little TLC upkeep. Best part of all was seeing the sunrise right outside the window which was spectacular.

Great Location. Rooms very clean. Building has been renovated and looks great. Beach Chairs in room was a great extra. Very pleased with our stay.
